# Revoke an organization SSH key

> Revokes one organization SSH key immediately. Ornn then makes a best-effort attempt, for up to 30 seconds before responding, to remove the key from your organization's VM and Bare Metal reservations and to queue the remaining keys for their machines. Removal takes effect when each machine applies the update; a successful response does not confirm removal from every machine. Existing SSH sessions stay connected. Add or push a replacement key before revoking a key you still need. Revoking an already revoked key returns 200 again. Requires an approved organization.

Revocation is immediate for new launches and assignments. Removal from running machines is queued; confirm it on each node before you rely on it.

CLI equivalent: `ornn ssh-keys delete <key-id>`.

openapi: 3.1.0
info:
  title: Ornn compute API
  version: 1.0.0
  description: >-
Customer HTTP API for Ornn GPU capacity. It covers reserved capacity and
nodes, VM and Bare Metal access, Kubernetes and Slurm clusters, SSH keys,
storage volumes and GitHub repositories, private networks, monitoring,
buying and selling capacity (Reserve, Market, Spot, and Relist), and
billing. API keys are scoped to one organization and act with their
creator's access there; account, team, and API-key management stay in the
console. Most operations require an approved organization. See
https://docs.ornn.com/api-keys to create a key and
    https://docs.ornn.com/guides/kubernetes-api for an end-to-end Kubernetes
integration. Examples use fictional IDs and credentials. The info.version
field identifies the contract revision, not a shared API path version.
